How do I use FindOut Search?
• You may be thinking; how do I use this? Well all you have to do is is click or search for something that may interest you on the navigation bar above and get started reading!
Tooltips: Knowing what's what
• When you hover over an item (eg. a header), you will be able to see what that item is, along with it's directory.
What are locked pages?
• A locked page is a page that is either essential (eg. admin page) to FindOut Search or is a legacy page. An admin page displays a 'locked' indicator.
• A legacy page can be about or designated to a topic or person that is general and seems to go into public interest very often. A legacy page displays a 'locked' indicator.
• The opposite of a legacy page is a neutral page. Neutral pages can be about or designated to a topic or person that is not of the current public interest. Neutral pages display an 'unlocked' indicator.
• If a page is unavailable (eg. an error page), you will be given a 'question mark' indicator, along with a 'locked' indicator.
• The indicator/icon declaring a neutral (unlocked), admin (locked), unavailable page, or legacy page (locked) is at the top-right corner of your screen.
What is the 'Comments' section, and what is the 'Chat Board'?
• Comments are a new and experimental feature (released April 10th, 2024) that have been added to available non-admin pages on FindOut Search for a more natural and lively experience on the platform. The 'Comments' section is currently marked by a gold colored 4-point star, indicating a new, experimental, sought-after, or special feature. Comemnts must be submitted for approval in the 'Submit A Comment' page located at the right side of the navigation bar.
• The chat board (accessible via the 'Chat Board' page) is a forum-like system where users on FindOut Search can post content/comments on the site. Prior to posting on the chat board, you must read the rules & notes pertaining to the chat board on it's page.
Data Collection
• FindOut Search will not directly collect personal data or information about you without trusted thrid-party sources.
Cookies
• FindOut Search does not and will not purposefully use cookies with the intention to collect personal user data, or sell personal user data. Trusted thrid-parties may establish cookies onto FindOut Search
Third Parties
• The only third-party source which FindOut Search uses to intentionally collect user data is Google Search Console, by Google LLC. Such user data may include the country where a device that visits FindOut Search may be located, or the type of device that visits FindOut Search (such as desktops, mobile devices, etc.). We recommend that you read Google's general Privacy Policy. Here's a list of all trusted third-party sources: Disqus, Google Search Console (previously mentioned), Wikimedia Commons (not linked to FindOut Search), Font Awesome, and GitHub. Your personal data will never be sold.
Media (Images, GIFs, & Videos)
• FindOut Search may use Creative Commons licensed media provided by Wikimedia Commons which has a collection of over 98 million images, videos, and more work licensed by/under the Creative Commons.

Chat Board Rules & Notes
• Keep the chat board safe and civil at all times. This means that innapropriate content of any nature will not be tollerated and will be swiftly deleted.
